Frequently Asked Questions
What is coaching?
Coaching is a supportive, collaborative process that builds self-awareness, develops practical strategies, and helps you navigate challenges. Unlike therapy or traditional tutoring, it is a structured partnership focused on helping you better understand yourself and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Who is coaching for?
I work with adults who think differently and are looking for greater self-understanding, practical strategies and a clearer sense of direction. I also support parents and families navigating neurodiversity, educational challenges and periods of transition.
Do I need a formal diagnosis?
Not at all. Many clients come to coaching while exploring a diagnosis or simply because they want support that is tailored to the way they think and learn. I respect each person’s unique experiences and believe that practical solutions often emerge through greater understanding and shared insight.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy often focuses on mental health and emotional healing, helping people make sense of past experiences. Coaching is generally more future-focused, practical and goal-oriented. Both can be valuable, but coaching centres on building awareness and taking action in ways that align with your strengths and priorities.
What happens in a coaching session?
Each session provides a safe, non-judgemental space where we explore what is working, what feels challenging and what matters most to you. Together, we identify patterns, develop practical strategies and create approaches that support meaningful and sustainable change.
How much does coaching cost?
One-to-one coaching sessions are £75 per 50-minute session.
I also offer a limited number of reduced-cost appointments for those who may benefit from additional financial flexibility.
Low-cost neurodiverse group coaching sessions will be available in the future. Please get in touch if you would like to learn more.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals and circumstances. Some people benefit from a small number of sessions focused on a specific issue, while others choose longer-term coaching to support deeper reflection and change.
